Terms of Service
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and BYOB for use of getbyob.com and the BYOB service. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
BYOB provides an AI CEO and AI agents that help you set up and run a business: websites, email, calls, a CRM, domains, documents and, where you connect them, advertising accounts. Agents act on your behalf, within the limits and approvals you set.
Your responsibilities
- You are the owner of your business and are responsible for it, including the laws that apply to it, its licences and its taxes.
- You approve spending and actions that cannot be undone. Review what BYOB does on your behalf. AI can make mistakes.
- You are responsible for following the rules of the services your business uses, including anti-spam and telemarketing laws (such as CASL and the TCPA) and advertising platform policies.
- Keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information.
Acceptable use
Do not use BYOB for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful, to send spam, to harass people, to impersonate others, or to run businesses that the providers we rely on prohibit. We may pause or close accounts that do.
Fees
Some features cost money, such as AI usage, phone calls, phone numbers and domains. Prices and your spending limits are shown in the app before charges apply. Advertising spend is billed by the advertising platform to your own account.
Your content and data
Your business, its content and its data belong to you. You give BYOB permission to use them only to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
BYOB connects to services run by others. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
Ending the service
You can stop using BYOB and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
BYOB is provided "as is". We do not promise any business result, revenue or uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid BYOB in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Courts in Montreal, Quebec have jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law gives you other rights.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. Continuing to use BYOB means you accept them.
